Written mostly in the narrative, the author uses telling historical details, perfectly depictive of the time-period in which the story takes place.
Sometimes narratives have a tendency to be stale and boring. But not so with this story! P.J. Webb skillfully weaves a story of betrayal and intrigue that was difficult for me to put down from the moment I began reading. I was actually swept back in time by the author’s vivid description of New Orleans and Paris in the 1920’s.
And what would a tale about Vampires be without a lot of BLOOD? This story does not disappoint!
Tales of the Blood: Transformation is a definite must-read for fans of the paranormal genre. I can’t wait for the next installment!

Very, very good read. Just when you thought you'd read all the stories that you could possibly read on vampires, you discover much to your surprise that there is another one that can and does hold your interest. This is that book! So, enjoy, cuddle up "lights on" and enjoy the journey. 👌
I enjoyed Prince of the Blood and cannot wait to start the sequel. The characters were easy to like and the story line flowed nicely. This book has an Ann Rice flare with its own originality and once you start you won't be able to put it down. I cannot see what's to come in the future for Sabastian Blood!!!
Ms. Webb’s debut novel Part One Prince of the Blood Transformation is such a great novel. She weaves a story that leaves you unable to put it down from the start.
The descriptiveness of the time period is done so well you can visualize yourself there. Ms. Webb makes you feel the betrayal and rage Sebastian has for what has been lost.
I’m impatient to read more of what’s to come.

Prince of the Blood – Transformation by P.J. Webb is a very well-written story with a unique take on vampire life. It starts with the vivid sights, sounds, and scents of New Orleans in 1900. Sebastian Blood is a handsome young pianist with reasonable talent and unreasonable charisma. He marries Malahti, the love of his life, and becomes a famous movie star. Life is perfect. How does it change, and when? How does Sebastian adapt to horrendous loss and a shattering transformation no one could expect?
This story has love, adventure, mystery, and built-in suspense; the characters are memorable. Well-researched details make the story believable and plot twists keep it entertaining. Prince of the Blood – Transformation is a page-turner!
Very well written. Smooth flowing writing style, extremely easy to read, a perfect blending of words. As for the story of the book, I was impressed as I was unsure if I could enjoy the vampire scenario of this book to any extent. I can say that I did very much enjoy the book as there was more of a "reality based" theme to go along with the fiction. I will recommend this book to readers. I will likely check out the other books by this author in the future.
I loved this book and this Vampire. Starts off in New Orleans where Sebastion was born. His parents are French and he grows up speaking French and English and his love of playing the piano begins. When a young adult he travels to New York but along the way meets a woman, Leeanne; a fateful meeting. Once in New York he meets the love of his life, Malahti. They marry, are very happy and he becomes a movie star. Not sure if talkies were yet around, but he becomes famous. The one day it all changes. I'm not divulging what happens, but Sebastion is turned into a Vampire. He's already devastated emotionally, but decides he will not be a blood sucker, killing people for their blood. The rest of the book details all of this. And it is a wonderful story. I highly recommend this book.

Along the way he meets Leanne, a meeting that at first is hopeful, but proves to be anticlimactic, at least for Sebastian.
Alone in the big city, his dream of playing the piano crushed, Sebastian meets the love of his life, Malahti. Together they discover and pursue a new dream, this time in Hollywood and their future is promising and bright.
That is, until a familiar face returns to haunt Sebastian.
